DIMENSION invests in Aracan, which operates the car marketplace “Kababa”

DIMENSION Corportation (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takamitsu Miyaso; hereafter、”DIMENSION) announces that it has invested in Aracan Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Kazuei Tanaka; hereafter、”Arakan), which operates the automobile flea market “Kababa.”

Aracan is a startup company that operates the automotive flea market website Kababa, which aims to “eliminate fraud from the used car industry, eliminate waste from used car distribution, and eliminate bargaining from the buying and selling of used cars.”

Kababa is a service where specialized appraisers assess the condition of used cars and add market information regarding their value, allowing for the transparent sharing of all information. This eliminates the information gap between professionals and ordinary consumers, enabling everyone to easily buy and sell used cars at fair prices. Additionally, services such as title transfer, vehicle transport and warranties are provided online, reducing distribution costs by 75% compared to traditional market practices.

We believe that the mechanisms implemented by Kababa to minimize troubles in its C2C transactions and to provide benefits to both sellers and buyers provide a valuable infrastructural service for society. We have decided to invest in this startup, as we believe that by refining the company’s current service, we can help expand its business while garnering significant user support.

Through this investment, DIMENSION will assist Arakan in its mission to reduce the cost of using cars to one-tenth of prevailing costs??. Furthermore, we will continue to invest in and provide support to entrepreneurs who are dedicated and sincere in their management efforts.
