After receiving his Master’s degree from Kyoto University Graduate School Mototaka Taneya joined Sharp Corporation, where he engaged in research and development of fundamental technologies and device elemental technologies in Sharp’s Technology Division, later serving as business manager for the electronic device business and Corporate Research & Development BU President. He currently holds the following positions:
