He earned a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Kyoto University. He began his career at Sharp Corporation, where he was engaged in research and development of core and device technologies. He later assumed leadership roles including Head of the Electronic Device Business, Head of R&D, and Executive Officer & Chief Technology Officer (CTO).He currently holds the following positions: – Senior Fellow, Sharp Corporation – Visiting Professor, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST), The University of Tokyo
